(To) Come and See est un processus en temps réel de working-through*, entendu au sens large.

«(To) Come and See» is in a larger sense a real-time process of working-through* the personal and collective eroticism.

Five women are claiming the site of the theatre as their playground, their ecosystem, their habitat. Inside of this newly established territory they are activating their senses and sensibilities : touching, making compliments, shifting their attention, gazing back, are part of their behaviour, stretched over time and space. Through that they attempt to escape the normative representations of the erotic iconography.

Between proximity and distance, presence and disappearing, a sensual landscape at the same time joyful and uncanny emerges in front of the eye of the spectator, who is both accomplice and intruder. A landscape that invites both sides to lose themselves and maybe find each other on the way.

* The term Working-through is borrowed from the theories of psychoanalysis that is described as the process in which we learn to recognize and accept the suppressed aspects of our own subconscious . The concept was introduced by Sigmund Freud.
