L’artiste irlandaise Oona Doherty propose un monde vacillant entre violence et sublime. Le langage du corps évoque la culture de la rue, masculine et brutale. La violence et la peur sont présents à travers des cris et des hurlements mixés aux notes sublimes du Misere d’Allegri qui transforment le désespoir en un moment mystique. Hope Hunt est un passage de l’obscurité à la lumière. Un spectacle coup de poing et très singulier pour une artiste qui a fait une entrée fracassante sur la scène contemporaine.

Oona Doherty est danseuse, performeuse et artiste visuel basée en Irlande du Nord. Elle a étudié à la London School Of Contemporary Dance, à l’University d’Ulster et au LABAN Conservatoire de Londres. Elle performe depuis 2010 dans différents théâtres internationaux avec des compagnies tel que : TRASH (NL), Abattoir Ferme (BE), Veronika Riz (IT), Emma Martin /United Fall (IE), Enda Walsh (UK).


Irish artist Oona Doherty offers a vacillating world between violence and the sublime. The body language evokes a male and brutal street culture. Violence and fear are present through screams and shrieks mixed with the beautiful notes of Allegri’s Miserere which transforms despair into a mystical moment. Hope Hunt is a transition from darkness to light. A stunning and very unique show for an artist who has made a dramatic entrance on the contemporary stage.

Oona Doherty is a Northern Ireland-based dancer, performer and visual artist. She has studied at the London School of Contemporary Dance, the University of Ulster and the LABAN Conservatory in London. Since 2010, she has performed in various international theatres with such dance companies as TRASH (NL), Abattoir Ferme (BE), Veronika Riz (IT), Emma Martin /United Fall (IE) and Enda Walsh (UK).
